Saturday, June 17th – Bennitas Mountain Challenge

Bennita Pickard, who has worked with the hounds at ‘Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare’ for 14 years in total, has decided to venture out of her comfort zone to raise as much as she can for the homeless hounds she so loves and has set herself a physical challenge to try and climb Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), the highest mountain in Wales, at an elevation of 1,085 metres above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands. It is located in Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd.

If you wish to sponsor Bennita for this challenge, please follow the link – Bennitas Mountain Challenge – Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare (hershamhounds.org.uk) – or alternatively donations in cash or cheque can be made at the kennels.
