WGW Christmas Fayre and Blessing

We cannot thank everyone enough for such a successful weekend of WGW events. An amazing total of £2.013.62 was raised from donations and shop goods.

After such a difficult year or so for us all, it was wonderful to see so many supporters again with their hounds, and those of you looking after our homeless hounds and to share memories of those we have loved and lost but will always remember with love.

The local vicar, Jackie, held a magnificent service, blessed the hounds and paid tribute to long-time supporters and fundraisers, the late Carolyn Mynott and Chris Ross.

To all those who supported any of the weekend activities in whatever way – whether as a stallholder or customer, donor of items to sell, cake-maker, hound owner or walker, or member of staff or volunteer who helped coordinate, set up or dismantle – your support was so much appreciated.

No event is complete without kind and loyal supporters and we are truly grateful to all of you for coming along and helping in whatever way you could. We hope to see you before and during Christmas, but meanwhile, wish you all the very best of the season from us all at WGW – & the Hersham Hounds.
