Valentines Day Coffee Morning

We were blessed with the sun and a wonderful turnout of supporters and hounds at this Coffee Morning at the kennels on Sunday. So thank you all so very much. You helped us raise a fabulous £924.56 for the homeless hounds.

Special thanks to the event team, serving food and drinks – Sharon, Stella & Blaise, with help from Sarah on the Shop – who did a roaring trade and made everyone feel welcome. A big thank you also goes to our cooks and bakers – you know who you are! It was so lovely to see so many hounds – and their humans! – return to see us who now have loving homes of their own.

Always so lovely to see how happy they are with their forever families. So truly, much appreciated. Special houndie guests were 16 year old Strike, loving and characterful as ever, and dear little Gordon. who is coping well despite recently losing his ‘sister’ hound, Delilah.

I am so sorry if I missed saying hello to anyone, but we were sincerely grateful you all made it and helped make it such a wonderful greyhound community day.
