WGW and SSWG raise £559

Thank you so much to everyone who helped and supported today’s WGW Party which raised an amazing £559.00 in total to celebrate the 7th Birthday of the Surrey Sighthound Walking Group (SSWG).

SSWG who have raised more than £17,000 since its formation in donations from those who attend and support these walks for our homeless hounds. Headed up by sighthound owner & walks organiser, Laura Fewell, a fabulous walk was arranged at Tadworth on this special day today, followed by bacon rolls, homemade soup and cakes at the Kennels afterwards – including a special birthday cake made by talented cook and WGW volunteer, Stella Murphy.

Thank you to Sharon & Stella for their Caff & other helpers, Rita, Josh and Julia, for manning the stall and shop. And of course a special thank you to those of you who supported the day by stopping by with or without your own lovely hounds and those who walked the kennel hounds and also sampled the delicious food and hot drinks that were available, alongside the usual hound walking.

We couldn’t raise funds for the hounds at these events without the help and support of you all and we truly do appreciate it.

Thank you. Carol xxx
