It’s CHRISTMAS and time to get out your Christmas hats and jumpers and dig out the tinsel for decorating your hound.
The annual Blessing will take place on Saturday 16th December, on Vauxmead (secure field opposite St Peter’s Church) . Our lovely local vicar will bless the hounds and we will sing a carol. The Blessing is followed by mince pies and mulled wine (maybe more) back at the kennels.
This is one of our favourite events in the calendar and we try to get as many kennel hounds as possible there. More details to come about the procedure for booking out a kennel hound for the group walk down to Vauxmead. Homed hounds are also very welcome. We try to keep it safe for ALL hounds by asking that you keep your hounds on lead at all times, that you restrict it to hounds only and, of course, pick up your poo!!
Looking forward to seeing you all in festive mood and tuneful voice
