Planning Update

The Trustees and all staff would like to thank all our supporters for their overwhelming response to the current planning application. We are particularly grateful to those who have specialist knowledge and experience in planning matters.

We have sought professional advice and have been advised that the current application is just to find out if a full application would need an Environmental Impact Assessment. However it is expected that the developer will almost certainly be submitting a full application within days of receiving an answer from Elmbridge planning officers. Neither a full application nor outline application would be submitted until the EIA screening opinion is provided. 

We will keep an eye out for the full application at which point we will engage the same planning consultant to put together wording that can be submitted in objection to the proposed development. We will make the wording available to all our supporters so that they can use it as a basis to submit their own individual objections.

Please be assured we will be fighting any application made and will need all your support.
