Flood Help Thank You

A huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has helped us combat the sheer volume of water that rushed ftom Turners Lane into the Kennels late last night (Friday 31st March \ Saturday 1st April), much more than forecast and made more difficult by the unexpected area power cut due to a local power station incident.

We have been overwhelmed by our supporters’ kindness – with replacement bedding, dog treats, help bailing out water and moving hounds from affected kennels, now drying out. Great teamwork and what a fabulous greyhound community we are lucky enough to be part of.

So, thank you from us all at the Kennels, especially on behalf of our beautiful homeless hounds
