Cherstey Show a great success (despite the heat)

WGW made it to the Chertsey Show after 2 years of Covid-19 preventing it going ahead.

We didn’t take or parade our lovely homeless hounds due to the temperatures over the weekend, but we still had our stand with a shop and thanks to some of our amazing volunteers who helped run the stall and helped with the drop off and pick up our equipment.

We were able to meet and greet people, promote greyhounds as greyt pets and even managed to raise £450 in donations and shop sales. Special thanks to everyone who stopped by to talk to us, the show organisers, the wonderful kennel staff who manned the kennels on both days and each and every kind volunteer who helped make the weekend run smoothly.
