It was lovely to see such a great turnout of hounds and humans at this annual event over the weekend. We are so grateful that Jackie, the local vicar at St Peters in Hersham, could once again bless our homeless, as well as the homed hounds that were able to be present.
To see hounds and humans coming together as a close community and with our shared passion for these special hounds is heartwarming.

This event has become an important part of the Hersham Hounds calendar and we dedicated the Blessing to all of our honeless hounds, at Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare, past and present, and to all the hounds that we love, have loved and may have lost.
The hounds that we have all loved and lost will be forever in our hearts and so we were remembering these special souls. We will always think of tnem with love and keeping safe the precious memories we have of them.
A huge thank you to you all fo supporting this wonderful festive eventt and for helping us throughout the year. We hope to see you over Christmas or in the New Year and there is always a hound to walk, foster or offer a forever home to. Every hound needs you, as much as you may need them.
All the very best, Carol and us all at Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare. Xx
