Sean – Born September 2013

On Foster

For those that don’t know Sean, he is 7 years old and still waiting patiently for a family to call his own. As far as we know he has never been in a house before but you would never know because he’s been just perfect so far. He travelled well in the car. He’s had a walk and walked perfectly on the lead. Eaten all his dinner. Explored the house and mastered the stairs. Discovered the toy box and sofas. Watched a bit of TV and is now chillaxing.

He is a total love bug and will be a perfect companion to curl up on the sofa with.

We know he can be fearful and vocal around other dogs so hope we can help him to see the world isn’t so scary during his time with us.

Cooling off in the pool

Handsome boy Sean was grinning from ear to ear this morning as he cooled his toes in the paddling pool after a walk with one of his favourite people.

Sean is an anxious boy who needs a special home with special people who have the time and patience to show him how to relax.

Laura took Sean to West End Common

Sean is such a lovely cuddly boy who would win medals in a greyhound leaning competition!

Sean and I went to West End Common today for the first time.  He jumped into the boot of my car with absolutely no hesitation and settled down nicely for the short drive from the kennels.  When we arrived at the car park he stood looking around, taking in his surroundings.  He enjoyed exploring a new area, enjoyed a good sniff and walked nicely on the lead.  We met a lot of other breeds off lead which he found a little alarming and barked to let everyone know he was worried.  He will need someone with patience to teach him that they are nothing to worry about and just dogs like him.

Sean is a firm favourite amongst staff and walkers and would love to find a home with an experienced family who could help him build his confidence in the outside world and who would make sure he got all the cuddles he desires.

In the meantime, if you are interested in re-homing Sean then please contact the kennels. Or, even better, come along to the kennels between 11am and 2pm and walk some of our hounds to get to know them.
