Great Global Greyhound Walk in aid of Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare Sunday 29th September at Nonsuch Park.
SSWG is again hosting the Great Global Greyhound Walk (GGGW) in aid of Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare (WGW) and we are going to Nonsuch Park.
ABOUT THE WALK
This 2 mile (3.5km) walk goes through the meadows of Warren Farm, literally through the site of Nonsuch Palace, loops around the park’s grasslands and returns to the start through a small wood that lines the eastern boundary.
Bring water for your hounds.
TIME & MEET POINT
10.00am set off – please arrive in good time to park up. Meet on the grassy area by the car parks.
PARKING
Park in one of the two car parks by the south east entrance to Nonsuch Park (Cheam gate), which is the one off the A232/Cheam Road just behind Nonsuch High School for Girls and David Lloyd. Doesn’t matter which of these two you park in – gather on the grass area between the two.
NOTE: Nonsuch Park has no fewer than five car parks so please be sure that you come to the right one(s)!
POST CODE: The *nearest* post code is SM3 8AJ, which should bring you to the park entrance gate on the corner of the A232.
