A Meet & Greet at their evening meeting.
Lingfield Saturdays are legendary in racing circles for their good crowds and party atmosphere, as well as their warm welcome to our hounds.
Because the gates open at 14:30 we have decided that it would be a lovely opportunity for some kennel hounds to be at Lingfield for an “early shift” just for a couple of hours. It is an ideal occasion for our kennel hounds to experience a Meet and Greet in a very safe environment and Carol has kindly agreed that any hound going can have a “late pass”.
So if you would like to bring a kennel hound for the afternoon (timings roughly 14.30-17:00) please see Carol. The plan is to have a parade of the kennel hounds before the first race.
For those of you bringing your own hound, please aim to arrive around 16.30. The evening will finish around 21.30-20:00 as there is live music after the racing and, as usual, we should be rattling our buckets (humans) and gazing appealingly at the racegoers (hounds….oh all right, humans too…) as they leave.
There is free car parking across the road from the main entrance, which is signposted. While we have not been limited in the numbers of hounds allowed, we do need to have your names for the tickets, which will be held at the main entrance, so please let Carol or Gaynor know if you are coming. It should be a fun evening, so come and join us!
So if you fancy an enjoyable evening out for yourself and your hound, please let Carol at the kennels or Gaynor at partwelsh53@gmail.com know. More details, with timings etc, to follow.
