Saturday December 14th – Christmas Blessing on the Green

Meet at the Kennels at 11:00 for 12 noon at The Green, Sat 14th December by the Christmas tree on Hersham Green, Burwood Road, Hersham.

Nearby St Peter’s Church have invited us to an open air Christmas blessing on Hersham Green, especially dedicated to Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare’s Hersham Hounds, kennel hounds and homed hounds alike. It’s a beautiful festive event which has become very popular over the years.

Book out your hound with the kennels and get your tinsel and trimmings out to wrap round your hound’s collar! Afterwards it’s back to the kennels for hot drinks or mulled wine, mince pies, bacon sarnies, cake and some festive cheer. Come along if you can.

People with hounds at home can head straight to The Green or walk with kennel dogs who will set off from kennels from 11, to arrive at The Green by 12 noon.
