We are devastated to bring the sad news that we have lost our darling, 4 year old homeless hound, Gibson, to osteosarcoma.
A loving boy, once he got to know you, he had a very nervous side with people he was unfamiliar with. Unfortunately, that meant he was more difficult to home than others. He could be strong on the lead if he panicked and had to learn to trust anyone who walked him. Thank you to those who kindly sponsored him and to all those who cared about him.
We are truly grateful for the time we had with Gibson and there will never be another hound like him. He had the hugest eyes and the biggest heart. A big, clumsy, worried but happy boy to the end. We won’t ever forget this beautiful, gentle, brindle greyhound who deserved to be – and was –very much loved.
Gone but never forgotten and taken far too soon.
RIP darling Gibson.
