Sad Loss of Lenny

When you came back from your weekend foster on Sunday afternoon you looked so happy and content. You bounced from your kennel to the paddock as usual the next morning, tucked into your breakfast and mooched about and played in the sunny paddock as you always did. Sad though it is that you passed away so suddenly and only 2 weeks after your 5th birthday, you were in the paddocks that you loved and never wanted to leave. You loved and trusted those people you knew and really enjoyed the outings our volunteers regularly planned for you.

We will miss your morning mad 5 minutes and your unique roman nose that made you look so cute and so endearing. An anxious boy deep down, you just wanted someone special of your own to love unconditionally and to devote yourself to. Adored by us all and by our regular volunteer walkers, Caroline and Julia, and Geoff & Kym (who also fostered you), you will truly be sorely missed. We loved you when you were here and we will always love you now you have gone. Our memories of you will always be good ones,

Lenny, a sweet gentle boy who through his sudden passing, has broken all our hearts.
