Bank Holiday Monday saw us back at Kempton Park again for their Community Raceday. We had the usual very warm welcome (warmer than the weather, frankly!) and as ever the hounds behaved impeccably. We also had some kennel hounds there and they had a lot of fuss and attention too, which of course they lapped up.

The team who came, with or without dogs, were just the best, and I am so grateful to all of them. We are like a well-oiled machine at these events nowadays… but of course we always welcome new faces.
As you can see below there was plenty of other entertainment. Here are the hounds with some new fans, the Scarlet Ladies, a ’40s-style singing group. We also featured on Radio Woking and as side from making new friends, which is very important, we raised just under £900, a very pleasing total as there were plenty of other things for the crowd to spend their money on!
Thank you to all the hounds and humans who made this such an enjoyable and successful day!
