Easter Coffee and Cake went down a treat

A huge thank you to you all for taking time out of your busy Easter weekend to help make our Sunday Coffee Morning such a fabulous day.

Not only was it an opportunity to raise funds for the homeless hounds, but also, we got to see so many supporters and their own beloved hounds, plus a good show of houndie walkers, as well as seeing a kennel hound leave for it’s forever – home – always such a privilege and a joy.

I will confirm the total raised shortly but just wanted to give credit where credit is due – to our lovely stallholders & cake-makers, Anneka & Karen and drinks stallholder, Rita, as well as all our amazing bakers and cake suppliers and of course, everyone who came along and supported the day.

What would these hounds do without you? A small charity like ours has a lot of outgoings to enable us to care for so many hounds, so every penny counts. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all that you do to help us look after these beautiful dogs.

A special thank you to Julia and Andy for helping us pack up and Holly Keane for taking such stunning photos of dear Angel (was ‘Jenny’) going home and for creating a snapshot of such a greyt day!

So grateful to each and every one of you and so lovely to see so many former Hersham Hounds, looking so well and happy.
