A wonderful weekend at the kennels

What a greyt weekend we have had in every way. Young , bouncy Luna also found a loving family home of her own with first time hound owners James & Alex and they all looked so happy together.

And lovely 8 year old Sanctuary hound, Frank, finally found his forever home with WGW owners, Kym and Geoff, following a failed foster and once they had returned from their honeymoon.

To top it all, a magnificent £407.35 was raised from Sharon & Stella’s Coffee Morning, featuring bacon butties, Quorn sausage rolls, Stella’s special home-made chutneys, Lesley’s superb home-made marmalade and a selection of delicious cakes from Stella and staff member, Joe’s mum & kind volunteers, Jan & Graham, plus the WGW Shop full of gifts and hound equipment, run by Clair.

Thanks to the generosity of the walkers and their hounds from the Surrey Sighthound Walking Group at Headley Heath, WGW also received a fabulous £70 from donations collected by SSWG walk organiser, Laura.

Many thanks to all our fabulous supporters and anyone who has helped us in any way over the weekend. Huge congratulations also go to our new hound owners with our best wishes for the happiest of futures, and to making precious memories together. It was indeed a very special weekend.
