Saturday December 12th at 11.30am in Vauxmead

The Christmas Blessing will take place on Saturday 12th December at 11.30am in Vauxmead, on Burwood Road at junction with Burhill Road.

Our lovely vicar from St Peter’s Church will conduct a short service with a couple of hymns, Carol’s annual report on the hounds and the hounds will receive God’s Blessing. This is a lovely and very popular event, with both kennel and homed hounds out in force and all sighthounds are welcome.

Please contact Carol to book out a kennel hound and bring tinsel, etc. to decorate yourself and your hound, the more Christmasy the better!

We will start collection of the hounds from 10.30am at the kennels and head off in small groups for the slow walk down to Vauxmead. All will be welcome back at the kennels after for mince pies and mulled wine. I hope you will be able to join us.
