Frank – Born Sept 2015

Frank - On Foster
Frank - On Foster

Homeless hound, Frank, has been returned from what should have been his forever home, due to his former owner’s  serious accident.

Frank has a lovely temperament, is very gentle and quiet and he sleeps, a lot! He’s an ex racer with a good racing record. He broke his back leg so was retired early. He has a lovely brindle colouring and is very handsome. He walks beautifully on the lead and will only pull slightly if he sees a squirrel. He’s not socialised with other dogs and pays no attention to them when out on walks. Judging by his response at the window when next doors cat wanders into the garden it’s fair to say he’s not a cat lover.

He likes to sing each morning for a few minutes after charging round the garden for 30 seconds. He’s great at neighbourhood watch, very nosey! He just loves attention and being stroked and he’s just lovely company.

He’s back at Hersham due to personal circumstances. I will not forget him. The best dog and great companionship.

Frank on Foster

Since Frank came back to Hersham Hounds, Kym and the famliy have had the privilege to foster this boy “Frank” for the long weekend! It took him all of 10 minutes to find the sofa and the bed!

We then spent the afternoon on a long walk, feeding the ducks and saying hi to his foster granny! Consequently he has spent most of the rest of the day 💤💤💤. This boy is so content, it is a pleasure to spend this time with him.
