Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the magnificent turnout on Sunday 26th November at the annual kennels fundraiser, ‘Switch on the Christmas Lights’ (2017). Your support for WGW in attending was truly amazing.
The generosity and Christmas spirit you showed, meant that we raised an incredible £1,582.20 from donations, plus £886.30 from the shop goods sold (which we have to buy in). We are grateful to those who ran stalls and to those who supported them by buying their wares!
From the raffle, refreshments, cakes & marmalade, lemon curd & chutneys, Georgia’s hot chocolate & cookie stall, the tombola, Karen & Dave’s doggie treats & gifts stall, the teddy tombola, ‘Guess the number of sweets’ competition?, the WGW shop, Helen’s photo booth with Santa, Sarah’s Nail Bar and Paula’s stall, to a percentage of the sale of goods from debut stallholder, ‘Stella & Dot Jewellery’ and from Phylly at ‘Greytcoats’ – (who has also been dedicated this past month to trying to finish making as many fleeces as possible for the kennel hounds, kindly bought by generous supporters) – you all made a difference and that’s what truly counts.
A very big thank you to you all for your support at what was a fun, festive and good spirited event. It was wonderful to see old familiar faces and some new. WGW just wouldn’t be the same without you all. So from me, all the staff and on behalf of the hounds, thank you. We sincerely appreciate your ongoing support and kindness in taking time out of your day to make this a very special occasion.
