Recycle your unwanted CDs and DVDs

Thanks to everyone who donated their unwanted CDs and DVDs. musicMagpie will pay 50p each for these. We have sent the first batch of 100 to musicMagpie but if we can collect another 40-50 items we can send another batch (100 is the minimum they will take).

musicMagpie accept the following (please note in particular that the items must have a barcode):-

CD Albums
DVDs
PS2 games
PS3 games
PSP (Games only)
Xbox Games
Xbox 360 games
Wii Games
Nintendo DS games
Nintendo 3DS Games

The disk must be in a case and it must be the right disc for the case. All the original packaging and artwork must be present

The disk must not be scratched or have dents, deep scratches or other serious damage – light surface scratches are usually accepted

The packaging must be in good condition. Cases may have light scratches, but booklets and artwork need to be free from tears, stickers and other major blemishes

PC Games/Software, CD singles/CD EPs, Vinyl/Tapes/VHS, items without a barcode, PS1 Games, GameCube Games, old console cartridges (SNES, Megadrive, Gameboy etc.), Dreamcast games, copied disks, free giveaways from newspapers or other promotional CDs/DVDs
