Pia

We said goodnight to our gorgeous little ‘Pia ‘yesterday afternoon. She had a mini stroke over the weekend and yesterday it was clear she was very distressed. We took her to ‘Carewell vets’ and Jason was so so good with her…. She was peaceful and comfortable in her bed in the back the car and went to sleep with Mark and I holding her….. Hopefully she’s gambolling over that 🌈 rainbow bridge chasing those cheeky girls & boys who have gone before and obvs a few squirrels too.❤️❤️🌈

We took her home on 8th Feb 2016 after seeing the picture below on WGW Facebook for the Valentines campaign. She looked the spit of our Pearl who had passed in Dec 2015. She was known as ‘Precious’ in Kennels as her racing name was ‘Precious Script’. If I remember Carol said she was quiet a diva in kennels ❤️ – but she fitted in with us and our then hound ‘Ollie’  and was the perfect girl. Little Pia did us all SO proud…..she made it to our new house in Sussex, enjoyed her new garden and made it to the ripe old age 13yrs 3mths…… just short of 8yrs living as a much loved family hound. She was our baby girl….. RIP darling Pia.
