MONTY WENT TO THE PARK WITH LAURA H. ON JANUARY 20TH 2018. THIS IS WHAT LAURA SAID ABOUT MONTY:
‘Knowing that Monty appears nervous and shy at the kennels I was hoping a trip to Painshill would go smoothly. I didn’t need to be concerned at all as the lovely Monty transformed into a confident leader who wanted to direct the pack around the park like an experienced tour guide.
Monty was dream in the car and settled like a seasoned pro. We didn’t meet any other dogs but Monty was good with ducks and geese and it was clear he thoroughly enjoyed his mini break from kennel life.
If he presented himself with this more confident nature at the kennels the queue to re-home him would be out the door and into another county.’
MONTY WENT TO THE PARK ON DECEMBER 2ND 2017. THIS IS WHAT THE VOLUNTEER SAID ABOUT MONTY:
‘Monty comes across as shy and quiet at the kennels but comes into his own once out on a walk. He needed a lift into the car but settled quickly and ignored Zenas excited manner.
Away from the kennels he blossoms into a confident boy who led the pack around the park and like a true lead hound would regularly turn around to ensure his group was still following.
Although we didn’t meet any other breeds he walked well on a loose lead within our group. This boy showed mountains of confidence in the Park and deserves some more trips away so he gets more exposure to the wonderful world outside of kennels.’
