Nancy – Born July 2015

Nancy (kennel hound) spend a few days with us on foster. An absolute sweetheart with a heart melting backstory this 9!years young lady shows how amazing and forgiving these hounds are and how fast they can adapt to living in a home.

Nancy is a dinky little lady! She has a happy disposition, always pleased to see you, go for a walk or snuggle on the sofa. She just loves company, whether it’s yours or a gentle hound. She is VERY cuddly and easy to walk, groom and handle. Out and about she met all sorts of dogs and was a complete darling! Not fazed by traffic or the trains rumbling by the embankment. She is not cat friendly tho, and will do a slow waltz if she sees one slink by. Nothing you can’t manage. This lovely lady eats like a hog and needs feeding up!

After a life in kennels I was surprised by how she took daily living noises in her stride, walked on the laminate floor like a pro and was spotlessly clean in the house. She soon found a spot in the garden where she preferred to toilet. A natural explorer, Nancy will happily walk a decent distance and explore a new world for her with you!
