GIGI WENT FOR A WALK WITH KARLA S. ON NOVEMBER 21st 2017. THIS IS WHAT KARLA SAID ABOUT GIGI:
‘This lovely lady is super affectionate. At first when trying to walk her she kept stopping to demand a fuss! Being the third dog out for me in a row, I realised that I perhaps didn’t pay her as much attention as I should have before taking her out the gate. After she demanded this be corrected, she then walked beautifully on the lead. She didn’t pull and was very much trying to be in tune with her walker, either walking just behind or to the side most of the time. She also trots really beautifully. She’s a very graceful girl.
When we returned, she was a bit keen to get to the treats… and then she did pull! But I managed to get her to wait to take the second one from my hand, only once she made eye contact with me.
I really love that she demanded the attention she deserved before walking… … she’s a proper lady and very appropriately named!’
GIGI WENT TO PAINSHILL PARK WITH KAREN W. ON NOVEMBER 18th 2017. THIS IS WHAT KAREN SAID ABOUT GIGI:
‘Despite it being a bit of a miserable day, Gigi was keen to go out to the park. She seemed unsure how to get into the car and needed some assistance, but once inside, she soon settled down quickly and lay on her duvet for the journey.
She was very well behaved, and walked calmly on the lead, making sure we were always near her.
She was unfazed by a large flying swan and the few medium/large size dogs she saw at close proximity. She was very friendly towards everyone we met and gentle with a child in a pushchair.
She was a joy to take to the park!’
Gigi went to Painshill Park with Rosie on November 5th 2017. This is what Rosie said about Gigi:
‘Gigi was initially a little anxious in the car but became calmer as the journey continued. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who gains confidence from human contact. Gigi walked beautifully on the lead and really enjoyed being out and about. She wasn’t at all reactive to small furry animals and was quite happy to walk passed other dogs. She greedily ate plenty of treats.’
Gigi went to Painshill Park with Clíona Breathnach on Sept 30th 2017
‘Gigi thoroughly enjoyed her walk at Painshill Park. She saw, noticed and took everything in her stride not once putting tension on the lead. The ducks, swans, squirrels didn’t bother her and the up close Terrier, Saluki and stroking from a toddler shows she is ready for family life. What Gigi enjoyed most was the sound of every plastic wrapper as it had the potential to become food!’
