Saturday, 13th December – Blessing on the Green

From 11:30 to 12:30 at Vauxmead Fields, opposite St Peter’s Church near the Kennels.

Please bring your hound/s or book out a kennel hound to join us at the local vicar’s hound blessing service, run especially for the Hersham Hounds, past and present, although all sighthounds are invited to this special service at Vauxmead Fields, opposite St Peter’s Church near the Kennels. Don’t forget, we encourage you to dress yourself or your hound in Christmas attire – or with a creative use of a little tinsel! Walk the scenic route round to Vauxnead Fields as a procession. Join us afterwards from 12.30pm at the Kennels for refreshments, a mince pie or mulled wine .

To book out a kennel hound, please let Carol know at the kennels or there will be a record sheet on the table outside the kennels during walking hours from now until the 12th December. or call Carol in advance on 01932 251894. (If leaving a message, please state your contact tel no).

PLEASE NOTE: All kennel hounds must be picked up between 10 and 10.30am, or you may miss the scenic group walk round and/or the start of the service (11.30am).
