We hope you enjoy reading the volunteers’ descriptions of their walks with the hounds. If you would like to find out more about Chester please visit our kennels and talk with a member of staff.

The kennels are open daily for hound walking from 11am until 2pm and are located at Burhill Kennels, Turners Lane, Hersham, KT12 4AW.

CHESTER WENT ON FOSTER FOR A WEEK WITH LESLI FLINN IN MAY 2018. THIS IS WHAT LESLI SAID ABOUT CHESTER:

We had the pleasure of fostering this gorgeous hound for the last week. Chester is the sweetest of boys who absolutely loves people and is so deserving of a forever home. He’s fine with busy roads, other breeds, will be friends with anyone who will give him a cuddle—and most people will since he’s so handsome—and is also a highly skilled fly assassin (a handy helper now that the weather’s good enough to keep the windows open!)

CHESTER WENT TO PAINSHILL PARK WITH CLÍONA B. ON FEBRUARY 24TH. THIS IS WHAT CLÍ SAID ABOUT CHESTER:

Chester was a pleasure to bring to Painshill. A perfect gent you would hardly know he was in the car not to mind on the end of a lead on a walk. He walked perfectly in a group of hounds and he had no problem with the dogs we encountered including a spaniel, a cockapoo and a Labrador. It was his first time to see ducks, swans and geese and he was unfazed by them all.

This handsome, gentle charming cuddle creature is also a leaner and takes every opportunity to lean against you or even the closest person to him. He is very social and he even walked over to a man he liked the look of to see if he could get an extra cuddle which he did. Form an orderly cue as Chester is available for rehoming.
