BRODIE WENT FOR A WALK WITH KARLA S. on NOVEMBER 21st. THIS IS WHAT KARLA SAID ABOUT BRODIE:
‘Today I walked Brodie for the second time, just locally near the welfare centre. We were as before walking with another dog. The first time he had been very shy and anxious. Wanting to walk right next to the other dog for security, and had been pulling a lot to do so.
But this time, only a few of weeks on, he seems to have come on leaps and bounds with his confidence. Although he did a couple of times try to walk close to the other dog, when told to come away he obediently obliged and there was very little pulling on the lead. He was much more into the walk, sniffing lots, taking it all in. We even stopped to meet a couple of horses and he was totally unfazed. He also happily took a couple of treats by hand. He’s doing very well!’
Brodie went to the Park with Michael Lewis on November 5th 2017.
‘Brodie is a gorgeous, quiet and at times anxious boy and though a lot of things are new for him with love and reassurance he slowly gets over his concerns. This was his first trip in a volunteers’ car and he needed a little encouragement to get in. At the park he clearly enjoyed his new surroundings and was well behaved when meeting other dogs. He was enthusiastic on the lead, without being strong.
Brodie responds well to encouragement and rewards you with a loving look from his beautiful big brown eyes. He is eager to please and we all enjoyed a leisurely relaxed walk.’
